Title: Woman's instincts
Author: [personal profile] leone
Rating: G
Character(s): Holmes, Watson
Summary: spacemutineer and methylviolet10b's 60 for 60 challenge: Week 2: The Adventure of the Beryl Coronet
Warnings: none
Word Count: 60;

Sherlock Holmes did not believe in feminine intuition; such strong beliefs must have basis in some reason (however faulty). Mary Holder's certainty of her cousin's innocence could have been no different, and any reason behind her certainty could not have been innocent. It was therefore at the moment when she appealed to "woman's instincts" that Holmes began to suspect her.
